D.A.E.S.I Program Overview

The DAESI program is a comprehensive 48-week training initiative designed to equip input dealers with expertise in agricultural extension services. This specialized program enhances participants’ knowledge and practical skills, enabling them to provide informed advice on agricultural inputs and become effective extension agents.

Program Structure

1. Classroom Training: 40 days of intensive training covering essential topics, including:

  • Modern agricultural practices – Pest management
  • Input selection and usage
  • Soil health
  • Crop production
  • Sustainable farming techniques

2. Exposure Visits: 8 hands-on learning experiences at farms, research centers, and agricultural organizations, demonstrating real-world applications of agricultural  extension techniques and input usage.

    The Certificate Course on Insecticides Management (CCIM) is a comprehensive 12-week program designed to equip participants with in-depth knowledge and practical skills on effective insecticides management. This 40-hour Input Dealer Training Program aims to establish a network of knowledgeable dealers who can provide expert guidance to farmers, gardeners, and agricultural professionals.

    Course Objectives

    1. Enhance knowledge: Equip participants with a deep                   understanding of insecticides, their uses, and safety                   protocols.
    2. Develop practical skills: Provide hands-on training on the         safe selection, application, and handling of insecticides.
